WELLKNOWN for their busy trade stand on the show circuit, Tigga’s Saddlery is to sponsor this year’s British Eventing Five-Year-Old Championship.
This prestigious young horse showcase takes place at Oasby (2) Horse Trials, running October 24 and 25.
And the team at organiser’s BEDE are delighted to announce this fantastic support from Sally Platts of Oakham-based Tigga’s Saddlery.

Said BEDE’s Stuart Buntine:
“It is brilliant to have Tigga’s Saddlery as title sponsor of the five-year-old championship, it really adds to the prestige of the occasion and is great that Sally and the team have come on board with their support.”
Added Sally:
“We are very excited about sponsoring the championship, even though it has been a difficult year it is great to give something back to the sport, the organisers, riders and owners, and the many people that work so hard to run events.
“We feel very fortunate that we have been able to get out with the trade stand and hope that 2021 will be more positive and we can be at more events.”
The class, run at BE100 level, is part of the British Eventing National Championships which also encompasses championship classes for six and seven-year-olds that took place at this year’s Osberton International Horse Trials held at Thoresby Park for this year only.
As the Five-Year-Old Championship hosts fewer combinations than the international classes, the organisers, in conjunction with British Eventing, felt it sensible to move the 2020 Five-Year-Old Championship to Oasby (2), who already run classes at BE100 level.
