Fourteen-year-old Ruby Thompson is the newest member to join the British Horse Feeds team as a brand ambassador.
Competing in various disciplines, Ruby mainly focuses on eventing and working hunter pony classes.
Said Ruby: “I am delighted to become part of the British Horse Feeds team and have used their feeds for many years. The horses have always thrived on their feeds and it keeps them in great condition throughout all the seasons.”
In 2019 Ruby finished fourth in the HOYS 133cm working hunter pony championship. This season Ruby successfully qualified for the Royal International, HOYS 2021 and also Badminton Grass Roots Eventing 2022.
Ruby currently has three horses out competing including Penstrumbly Calon Lan, an 11-year-old Welsh Section D, who has had a great season qualifying for HOYS 2021 in the 153cm working hunter pony and Badminton 2022.
Her other horse Smilla IV, a 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood, has qualified for 100 Eventing Pony Club Championships and the NSEA 110cm Show jumping Championships.
Ruby has also qualified for the Badminton regionals next year and the Pony Club Showjumping Championships with another ride, Ridgehill Magda, a 13-year-old Welsh X ID.
Ruby is looking forward to show jumping and dressage over the winter in preparation for the eventing season to start again next year as well as working closely with British Horse Feeds.
