Reaseheath Livery Opportunities & Competition News

8th July 2020 By

Reaseheath College offers top class working livery opportunities

If you’re wondering how your horse is going to fit in with your working and home life post Covid-19, Reaseheath College in Nantwich, Cheshire, may have the ideal answer.

Reaseheath Equestrian Centre is offering great value working livery packages on its BHS Approved training yard which meet the individual requirements of horse and owner.

As well as the crucial reassurance that their horse is receiving five star care in top class facilities under the supervision of highly qualified staff, owners receive many additional benefits. These include access to facilities outside college hours, the opportunity to enter college competitions, some of which were relaunched in early July, and the chance to join Reaseheath’s Riding Club. Free and discounted lessons, lectures and other activities are also included in the package.

The Equestrian Centre also offers DIY and stable management only liveries for staff and students.

The college is looking for a range of working livery horses up to competition schoolmaster level so it can give students a wide riding experience and enable them to develop confidence and practical skills in preparation for entering the industry.

Ideally working liveries should be at least 14.2hh, aged over six years, be balanced in walk, trot and canter and be capable of jumping a minimum of 70cm.

Competitions

Reaseheath’s Equestrian Centre was delighted to successfully resume Unaffiliated and British Dressage competitions earlier this month following the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.

Weekend and mid-week dressage and Team Quest competitions will continue to run following strict public health guidelines but sadly all other competitions and activities such as summer camps remain cancelled.
